Training
The Summit County Progressive Democrats (SCPD) PAC has scheduled another round of training for candidates, potential candidates as well as campaign managers, treasurers and activists. We intend to conduct a full day session on Saturday, August 19, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The training will take place at the Ohio Brewing Company, 2250 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls (2nd floor meeting room)
The training sessions will cover the following topics.
- Fundraising – design fundraising plan; create call lists; how to make “the ask”
- Creating and delivering your campaign message.
- Campaign essentials organization-calendar, staff, volunteers, field, targeting-
win number, specifics for judicial candidates, campaign dos and don’ts.
- Effective Social Media
- Campaign Finance Requirements & Your Treasurer
- SCPD & SCDP Resources for Your Campaign – Candidates’ Resource Manual
SCPD will provide lunch.
